Haltom Area Band Friends (HABF) represent both the instrumentalists and guard members as a single, unified organization known as the Pride of Haltom Band

All parents are encouraged to become involved with HABF to keep better informed on your Student’s band activities and play an active role in supporting, strengthening, and nurturing the Pride of Haltom Band organization. Working together, we can build on tradition, foster teamwork, promote organization, school, and community pride, and continue to lay a strong foundation for our students that will last for years to come

New/Returning Volunteers

All BISD volunteer applications/approvals are expired on June 30th annually. Volunteers are required to submit a new Volunteer Application for the coming school year on or after July 1st each year. Click here to get registered!

Volunteer Opportunities

Uniform Fitting/Alteration/Repair: We make sure the band looks its best during marching and concert season. We need help fitting students as well as repairing items throughout the year. All marching uniform and repaired by this team as well as hems in dresses and pants during concert season.

Uniform Washing: Ensure our students have clean uniforms.
Hospitality: A team of dedicated parents ensure all band members and staff are fed before each game/contest and support other activities throughout the year.

Fundraising: Help plan/coordinate various fundraising events.
Special Events: Help plan/coordinate Buff Night, Senior Night, Theater Production lunch/dinner, Christmas on Broadway, UIL events, Jazz Concert, CarFest, Beach within Reach, Band Banquet, and any other major events.
